I know I resolved to be my normally cranky, and demanding self writing my blogs this year. As luck would have it everyone we’ve gone to so far has been doing their job. However at the risk of appearing a complete marshmallow I wanted to show the staff that we met at end of the line public house. Since they were all so swell and kind enough to let me take their pictures. Only relying upon my word that I wasn’t a pervert.
04 – Stairway To HeavenAfter eating at Peppy Grill we decided to go to a new place in the same building as the smokehouse. Its full name is the end of the line public house. They offer 10 craft brews on draft plus several specialty bottled beers. They also have a sister place, a cocktail lounge called imbibe; with five more draft heads it’s only open evenings. You can buy pints or bottles they also have available 2 flights, one of 5 ;4 ounce selections and one of 10. Pat chose a pint of Sun King sink the clipper( when you go there ask the story behind the name). Naturally I opted for a flight of 10. They give you little cheat list and a scorecard. After my flight was finished I opted for a pint of Lexington Bourbon barrel ale. That’s when I learned of the five draft heads next door. The poor bartender had to run next door just to serve me. Their menu is very interesting, as a matter of fact I believe we will be there next week for lunch. But don’t wait for us go ahead check it out. The blue Stairway to Heaven is not a description it is the song, click it you will hear it.
